3. Assignment to a provider and scheduling of first session
4. Development of a personalized care plan

Luna Vista Behavioral Health Services complies with HIPAA and New Mexico state laws governing behavioral health records for minors. We respect each client's right to privacy and confidentiality, including protections for adolescents accessing mental health or substance use services.
Q: Do you only work with youth?
Yes, our services are specifically tailored to individuals ages 6β18. We also support caregivers and families as part of the treatment process.Q: Are sessions confidential?
Yes, with legal exceptions (e.g., safety concerns). We explain confidentiality clearly during intake.Q: Do you offer virtual therapy?
YES, we currently provide in-person and telehealth services.Q: What ages can self-consent for therapy in New Mexico?
In New Mexico, youth aged 14 and older may consent to outpatient mental health services without parental approval, per state law.
